Pin Hole Camera Photos

Our pin hole camera photos did not turn out like we had hoped they would. With our first try we took a picture outside on a cloudy day in the grave yard and held our flap open for 45 seconds but our camera wasn't very secure so we thought it may be somewhat distorted. On the second try we tried taking a shot inside the school, due to rainy weather, in a brightly lit bathroom of a toilet and held our flap open for 5 minutes but this time our camera was much more secure. Unfortunatley whether our camera was secure or not or whether our photo was distorted or not we would not be able to tell beacuase our photos came out very underexposed. Both times we did not keep our camera flap open long enough for enough light to enter making our photos close to invisible.

Our attempt in a cloudy grave yard.

    David Gutierrez - Beautiful London

I enjoy this photo a lot because of how rich and deep the colours are in such a simple setting. I love how smooth the orange sky looks with the deep purple and all the colourful shinning lights that bring such dark and light colours together in one shot. I love the landscaping in this photo as well because you have the bench as such a strong focus yet so much going on in the background of the city.I really enjoy how this shot is based in such a busy setting yet everything is so still and simple. Finally I love how everything in this shot is brought together so nicely. You would think because it is such a busy shot with all the lights and the city in the back that it would be to much too look at at once but with such beautiful colours and the simplicity of the bench and the trees the whole photo is brought together very smoothly.
